Recording Jeju’s Olle Trail: Part One

Our journey along the Jeju Olle Trail took us over 100 kilometers on foot, leading us through the island’s diverse landscapes. For over a week, we walked through dense forests, rugged coastlines, open farmland, and peaceful waterways, recording the rich and ever-changing sounds of Jeju’s natural world.

This first installment in our Jeju Olle Trail sound library series features the hum of cicadas in the trees, crickets calling at dusk, the rhythmic crash of ocean waves, and the powerful gusts of wind sweeping across the coastline. We also recorded tranquil rivers, the distant hum of passing fishing vessels, farmland sprinklers, and the eerie, atmospheric soundscapes of an approaching typhoon.

You may also enjoy more sound from our Nature Category!
