I still vividly remember the sunny morning we arrived, and I wasted no time recording the mesmerizing rain and wind sounds from our terrace.

La Réunion is a true gem with a hot and humid climate that varies depending on where you are on the island. We arrived during the middle of the rainy season in late January, and boy, did we capture some unique sounds!

The recordings were made in a residential area in Saint-Denis, giving you a true taste of the island’s captial rain and wind sounds.
