Seoul's Sonic Journey: Recording the City's Heartbeat
Diving into the auditory landscape of Seoul is an adventure that resonates with every step, especially when tracing the melodies along the Cheonggyecheon stream. This once-hidden waterway, now reborn through an inspiring transformation from a concealed stream under an elevated highway to a centerpiece of urban rejuvenation, stands as a beacon of the city's resilience and innovation.
Our exploration through Seoul was armed with the Rode NT-SF1 and Zoom F6, recording in VR. With the 'SoundField by RØDE' plugin, the original VR files open a world of creative possibilities, from crafting your own stereo mix to designing atmospheres in surround or Dolby formats.
Our collection includes immersive binaural recordings made with the DPA 4560, promising an auditory experience as rich and multifaceted as Seoul itself.
This library is a toolkit designed not only for setting scenes in Seoul but also for breathing life into projects across films, audio dramas, video games, and podcasts.
