Even though I missed the gibbons greeting the day, the forest was anything but quiet. I wandered through all sorts of landscapes - from squishy wet dirt paths and gooey mud to rocky trails and open fields - all the while, the air was filled with the excitement of zip-liners whooshing overhead through the trees.
Armed with my Zoom F4 and Zoom H6 recording devices, and the ever-reliable DPA 4060 microphones, I managed to gather the rich sounds that make a rainforest so mesmerizing.
