Eerie Water Splash Sound Library
While exploring sound design ideas for horror and Halloween projects, we found the perfect setting! A small, windowless bathroom with cold tile floors and an unsettling room tone. The natural acoustics of the space already carried an eerie presence, so we decided to experiment with water, splashing it against the walls, onto the floor, and into a metal bowl to create unsettling, high-detail sound effects.
Recorded with high-frequency clarity reaching up to 70kHz using the Earthworks QTC 50, this collection captures every dripping echo and resonant splash, making it a powerful tool for horror soundscapes, psychological thrillers, and eerie ambient design. The included room tone alone is enough to send chills down your spine.
