We are excited to present our first sound library from Shenzhen, China, capturing the raw and intense sounds of a thunderstorm during a rainy night. This unique sound library was recorded after 3 am from our open hotel window, situated between towering office and hotel buildings in the Luohu district near the Grand Theatre.
Please keep the volume low as this sound library features a range of sounds, from distant thunder growls to close-up lightning strikes that were powerful enough to trigger car alerts. The constant rain hitting the concrete and hotel windows adds another eerie layer, creating a perfect backdrop for atmospheric and immersive soundscapes.
For these recordings, we used the Sony PCM D100 and also recorded additional sounds with the DPA 5100 for our upcoming surround sounds available inside our All In One Bundle.
