Blacksmith Hammering Sound Effects
1 files • 24 bit/96 kHz • 229 MB • 6 minBack in 2017, during our stay in Hoi An, Vietnam, we came across a blacksmith shop with two men hammering steel and creating fences every day. We knew we had to approach them to record these sounds, and finally, we did. The men were happy to allow us to record the sounds of the fire and hammering with our equipment.
The sound effects feature hammering sounds, steel clanking sounds, forge sound effects, and other industrial and traditional crafts sound effects. These can transport you to another time and place, despite the background noise of passing motorbikes. But with a little bit of editing magic, you can easily remove these sounds and include them in another project.
We used the Zoom H6 recorder to record the sounds of the blacksmiths, and while there is some background noise, you can easily delete these parts of the sound file to use them for medieval sound effects. These authentic blacksmith and fire sounds from Vietnam are one of our first recordings from when we began our field recording journey, so they are very special to us. Enjoy!
