After recording the jungle sounds I packed up my stuff and walked back to my motorbike. But before that, I thought why not recording my footstep sound effects? So I took one of my DPA 4060 lavaliers, the Zoom H6 around my neck and because it’s on a small cable I hold the cable in my hand and the microphone tangling close to my shoes. The shoes I wear I Asics Gel Excite 4. I got these shoe in an Asics Outlet in Houston for around 40 US Dollars and on Amazon currently 49 USD.
First I walked on a small dirt path and after a few minutes, I came to the stone stairway. I wonder how old these steps are.
While I was recording these walking sounds, you can listen to the typical jungle/forest soundscape coming from the left and the right site.
I uploaded the sound to Bandcamp and I tried to upload the Mono Files several times but I got an error. I converted it into a stereo sound and after that, it worked. If you have access to my library you find all these recordings in Mono in the Bandcamp category.
Feel free to download the full album or the sound that you like. I broke down the album in 5 tracks and each track is about one minute long except track 5 with 1:32 minutes. I hope you can use the sound and if you are looking for the matching jungle sound here you can find the previous post!
